REGENT STREET

This addition and remodel bring modern amenities and efficiency to a classic 1909 Berkeley Craftsman home. The client, an avid cook and former professional baker, desired a restaurant-quality kitchen workspace with commercial-grade appliances, all while preserving the home's traditional warmth. The Douglas fir flooring and ceiling details add a natural warmth to the space, beautifully complemented by chalky whites and deep grays. A spacious island anchors the room, serving as the focal point for baking and dining. Removable end panels on the island allow for easy use of cooling racks. In the bathrooms, light gently washes over hand-plastered walls, adding a soft, artisanal touch.
